Who We Are

Basra Organization for Mine Clearance (A.B.D.O) is a non-governmental organization dedicated to creating a mine-free Iraq. Established on October 13, 2015, and registered with the Iraqi NGO Department, we are fully authorized to conduct mine clearance activities across Iraq. With a team of highly trained professionals, we work tirelessly to ensure the safety and well-being of communities by removing the threat of unexploded ordnance (UXO) and landmines.

Our History

Basra Organization for Mine Clearance evolved from the Iraqi Organization for Demining (IMCO). Our founding members bring over 15 years of experience in mine clearance, having received training from international experts. This wealth of expertise allows us to carry out high-quality reconnaissance, demining, and awareness activities throughout Iraq.
